Kylie Jenner attacked  for not paying  Bangladeshi apparel workers on social media

The reality star holds the worth of $900 million with 182 million Instagram followers, is yet to comment on the whole matter

Kylie Jenner is the fifth most-followed star on Instagram and second women in the world with 182 million followers and has been the youngest billionaire in the world still holding the revenue of $900 million. A model, Tv star, Founder and owner of Kylie Cosmetics recently she was slammed at social media for not paying 50 thousand apparel worker in Bangladesh most of whom are women and are also ineligible for government assistance due to their immigration status.

The accusation of not paying the workers during this lockdown came when the government in Bangladesh is already having a tough time in managing the employment in the country.

This news got fired on 22nd June when a popular social media page, Diet Prada, accused the clothing brand ‘the Global Brand’  who is in charge of clothing lines of Kylie Jenner and Cardi B.

The multi-millionaires are been criticized by there fans across the globe on different social media platforms.

It is true that the humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Bangladesh with 4.1 million garment workers of western brands who have somehow cancelled the order of $2.8 billion due to the COVID-19 crisis across the globe.

A local survey in Bangladesh tells that around 72% buyers have refused to pay for raw material, over 91% refused to pay for production cost and as a result, the local survey showed 58% of factory shutdown.

Around 1.5 million workers are affected by these order cancellation and then abruptly cancelling of the order by the big western brands have affected the lives of millions.

The Global Brand Group responsible for her clothing line have cancelled its ongoing orders and have even cut workers in both Los Angeles and Bangladesh off with no pay as reported by Showbiz cheatsheet.

The Global Brand was quick in defending as the company CEO Rick Darling said they had no other choice as the retail partner has cancelled the order and product in production has no sell-through.

One of the articles says that Kylie’s representative have confirmed over mail that  The Kendall + Kylie brand is owned by Canada Inc and the company used to work with The Global Brand in the past but Diet Prada has amended its post by telling that they still work together and on this  Kylie's team has refused the allegations and warned her for legal actions.

Forbes estimated that Kylie earned $590 million in the last 12 months, mostly from the sale of a 51 per cent stake in her Kylie Cosmetics line to Coty in 2019.

But is it really true that a millionaire businesswoman refused to pay the factory worker who are especially women in a vulnerable condition and left thousands starving.

Well, the Team didn’t come with a clarification while she is facing huge criticism for not paying the workers even after holding worth $900 million which is sufficient enough to afford the payment.

The fans got furious at her when her team deleted some comments criticizing her and the company, for not supporting the workers back in Bangladesh, on her latest picture.

Well, we hope her team will come up with clarification as this protest may affect her brand and her fans are also waiting for a statement to come.

She Is Not Impure: Decoding Menstruation Taboos Around the World

Decoding Impure Taboo around the world-   She is not Impure Sachin Pandey   In many parts of the world, menstruation is still treated as a taboo , cloaked in shame, silence, and exclusion. In some Indian villages, menstruating girls are forced to live on the outskirts of town. Shockingly, food touched by menstruating women is not even considered fit for animals , let alone shared with family. Menstruation: A Natural Process Seen as Impurity Although menstruation is a biological blessing , it has been distorted into a cultural curse by various communities, religions, and patriarchal systems. Deep-rooted shame, stigma, and misogyny have led to the alienation of women during their periods, making them feel impure, inferior, and isolated . Many religious practices reinforce this belief: In Judaism , menstruating women are considered "impure" and must avoid physical contact with their spouses. After the cycle, they must wait 7 days and immerse in a ritual bath (M...
